著名北京維權律師、中國政法大學講師滕彪博士被帶走41個小時後，於今天（3月8日）下午1:40獲釋回家。
滕彪的朋友表示，帶走他的人是北京市公安局的人，他被帶走之後一直被戴上頭套，不知道被帶到甚麼地方。滕彪的朋友又表示，滕彪被帶走的時候和被問話的時候沒有受到暴力對待，滕彪被問及他寫的一些文章和他接受媒體採訪的事情，但他表示具體情形不方便透露。
滕彪3月6日晚上9時左右突然和家人朋友失去聯繫，手機一直打不通。滕彪的太太王玲表示，滕彪3月6日早上8點多出去工作之後，晚上8點15分左右收到他的電話說他會二十分鐘左右回來之後，大概在8點半左右，她聽到樓下有人尖喊，她之後往樓下看，只看到滕彪的車子，但沒有見到他。她問當時樓下的兩三個人，他們說看見有幾個人把一個人強行拉進一輛黑色車裡，然後開車衝了出去。王玲表示，她從不過問滕彪的工作，所以她不知道他是甚麼原因被帶走。
中國維權律師關注組對滕彪獲釋表示歡迎，但仍強烈關注北京公安任意帶走維權律師的做法，北京快要舉辦奧運，本會希望同類事情不會再發生。

Update: Beijing Human Rights Lawyer Teng Biao is Released After Being Taken Away for 41 hours

China Human Rights Lawyers Concern Group (CHRLCG)
Teng Biao, a prominent Beijing human rights lawyer and a lecturer of China University of Political Science and Law, was released at 1:40pm today (8 March) after he had been taken away for 41 hours.
Teng was taken away by officers of the Beijing Public Security Bureau, according to his friends. After he was taken away, he was hooded and did not know where he was taken to, his friends said. His friends said he was not treated with violence when he was taken away and being questioned. He was asked about some of his articles and the interviews he did with journalists, but his friends said that it was not convenient to disclose other details at the moment.
Teng suddenly lost contact with his family and friends at around 9pm on 6 March. Calls to his mobile phone were not answered. Teng’s wife, Wang Ling, said Teng left home for work at around 8am yesterday. Teng called her at around 8:15pm on that day, saying that he was returning home in about 20 minutes. At around 8:30pm, Wang heard somebody cried out downstairs and she went down to see what happened. Wang only saw Teng’s car, but could not find him. At that time, two or three people were downstairs and Wang asked them what happened. They told her that they saw several people forced a man into a black car and sped off. Wang said since she does not talk to Teng about his work, she wasn’t sure why they took him away.
China Human Rights Lawyers Concern Group (CHRLCG) welcomes the release of Teng Biao, but we are still concerned about the way the Beijing public security officers took him away. Beijing is going to host the Olympic Games in a few months, and we hope that such incident would not happen again.
